Tel: 448844. For pre West End productions, drama, comedy, opera, ballet
and concerts. Tours of this beautiful Theatre are available on the first
Wednesday and following Saturday of every month at 11am (Wed) and 12pm
(Sat). Website
Ustinov Studio Theatre: Part of the Theatre Royal, the Ustinov hosts
plays, talks and debates.
The Rondo, St. Saviour's Road, Larkhall (follow London Road). For

BATH BOATING STATION, Forester
Road (F1). Tel: 466407. Open daily April to September 10am-6pm. A Victorian
boating station, with punts, skiffs and canoes for hire, and abundant
wildlife. Tea Garden and restaurant.
PARKS:
Henrietta Park has a scented garden
designed for the blind.
Parade Gardens, with its bedding plant sculptures, and brass band
on Sundays, is close to the Abbey.
Royal Victoria Park has attractively landscaped parkland full of unusual
trees, colourful bedding schemes, an adventure playground, and excellent
views of the Royal Crescent.
The Botanical Gardens is a peaceful place to stroll and enjoy the
year round colour and variety of 5000 plant species.
Prior Park Landscape Garden. An 18th century garden set in a sweeping
valley overlooking Bath. The garden was created by Ralph Allen, Alexander
Pope, and "Capability" Brown. It is a National Trust property.
There is no parking nearby, so access is by Badgerline bus No.2 or 4,
taxi, or on foot. Follow Prior Park Road for about half a mile. Open daily
except Tuesday (open Friday to Sunday only in December and January), 11am-5.30pm
(or dusk if earlier). Admission charge. Tel: 01225 833422. Website

day 9am-5.30pm.
