details about attractions in and around Canterbury, and offers a wide
range of guidebooks, maps, postcards and gifts. Many other services are
available to make sure that your visit runs smoothly including car hire,
Bureau de change, and the Book-A-Bed-Ahead Scheme. The Centre is also
the ticket booking office for cross-channel ferries and National Express
coaches. There is also an Information Centre (open 8.30-16.00 in summer, 9.00-16.00 in winter), Canterbury Tales ticket desk, and bureau de change (summer only) at Kingsmead Coach Park (off E1), and in the summer there is an information desk at the Bus Station (D4). Canterbury Bookings Ltd. are based at the Visitor Centre, and sell tickets for concerts, regional and West End theatre, and other local events. Tel: 455600.
