WELLS TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE, Town Hall, Market Place, Wells, Somerset BA5 2RB. Tel 01749 672552, Fax 01749 670869. Email: touristinfo@wells.gov.uk. Open: April to October daily, 9.30am-5.30pm. November to March daily 10am-4pm.
The Centre provides general tourist information, details of guided walks and local and regional events. They are ticket agents for the Playhouse Theatre, and for Avalon and Clapton Coaches, and sell discounted tickets for Wookey Hole and Cheddar Caves. The Centre sells a range of maps, guidebooks, gifts and souvenirs.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Tourist Information Centre can provide information about local hotels and B&B, camping and caravan sites, self-catering and hostels, and offers a booking service. The National Book-A-Bed-Ahead scheme is also available. An accommodation list is available for a small charge.
